COSMETIC DENTISTRY

PORCELAIN VENEERS
Veneers are very thin yet strong coverings that are custom made from porcelain for concealing the surfaces of your teeth. They can make uneven teeth even, stained teeth appear white, fill in gaps between teeth, and make broken teeth appear whole.

A bleaching process that reverses discolorations of the outside layer of the tooth structure (the enamel).
The system uses a mild solution retained in a custom fitted appliance that slips over your teeth. Whiter results are usually seen in 2-3 weeks.

TOOTH COLORED FILLINGS
Tooth-colored fillings are made from durable plastics called composite resins. They are similar in texture and color to natural teeth. Tooth colored fillings are less noticeable, and much more attractive, than other types of fillings.

PORCELAIN CROWNS
A crown, sometimes referred to as a “cap”, is an artificial covering cemented over an existing tooth that has been specially prepared for you.   A crown is usually recommended if you have a fracture, a large old filling or if your tooth is severely damaged by decay.  Crowns restore a tooth to its original shape, strengthen a tooth and improve your overall appearance.  Porcelain crowns match your natural teeth.

PORCELAIN BRIDGES

A bridge is a custom-made device anchored to neighboring natural teeth, which replaces one or more missing teeth. This helps to restore your natural bite. Bridges prevent tilting and shifting of adjacent teeth and also prevent further dental decay and gum disease.

No temporary crown needed!

Most dental restorative methods require more than one visit to the dentist.
This means that on the first visit, you get an injection of anesthesia, your tooth prepared, an impression taken, and a temporary restoration put on your tooth. You make a second appointment for a couple of weeks later, possibly have another injection to remove the temporary and then have a permanent restoration put on.
